State Fleming's left hand rule or motor rule.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

According to Fleming.s left-hand rule, if we stretch the forefinger, the central finger, and thumb of our left hand mutually perpendicular to each other and if the forefinger points in the direction of the magnetic field, the central finger in the direction of current, then the thumb points in the direction of motion of the conductor or the force on the conductor.
