For the current-carrying solenoid shown, draw the magnetic field lines, and giving reason, explain where, out of three points A,B and C, the field strength is maximum and where it is minimum .

Since more number of closely spaced magnetic field lines pass near point A, magnetic field strength is maximum at point A. Since magnetic field lines are far away. field is minimum at point B .
