In the arrangement shown below, two different coils A and B are inserted over a non-conducting hollow cylinder :
i] Does the galvanometer [G] show any deflection when a constant current flows in coil A ?
ii] Does the galvanometer show any deflection when current in coil A is changed with the help of the rheostat ?
iii] Is there any change in deflection if the current in the coil A is changed at a faster rate ?
Explain your observation in each case.

i] No, because the magnetic field lines linked with the coil B do not change.
ii] Yes. Change of current in coil A changes the magnetic field experienced by coil B and hence induces current in it.
iii] Yes, a larger deflection is observed in the galvanometer if current in coil A is changed at a faster rate. However, the direction of deflection does not change.
