Two identical-looking bars A and B are given, one of which is definitely magnetised . How would one ascertain whether or not both are magnetised? If only one is magnetised, how does one ascertain which one ?

Different ends of both the bars are brought closer. If both A and B are magnets, repulsion should occur at least once. If one of them is a magnet, Only attraction occurs in all the cases.
To find out which one is magnetized, keep bar A on a table and move the tip of bar B along the length of A . If it sticks to A in the same way no matter where we touch the tip, bar B is the magnet. If it sticks less at the centre bar A is the magnet [because magnets are stronger at the poles] .
