Let `alpha and beta " are the roots of the given equation " `.
` :. alpha + beta = (-(3p+1))/3`
` and alpha beta = (-(p+5))/3`
Now, ` (-(3p + 1 )) /3 = (-(p+5))/3`
`rArr 3p+1 = p+5`
`:. 2p = 4 `
` :. p= 2 `
