B

`f(x)=x(x-1)(x+1)=x(x^(2)-1)` m
Differentiating we get
`f'(x)=x(2)+(x^(2)-1)`
`f''(x)=6x`
`a f'(x)=0 rarr 3x^(2)-1 =0 rarr x^(2)=1/3 rarr x = pm (1)/sqrt(3)`
Maximum value of `f (x)=f((-1)/sqrt(3))=(-1)/sqrt(3)((-1)/sqrt(3))-1)`
`=(-1)/sqrt(3)(1/3-1)=(-1)/sqrt(3)((-2)/(3)=(2)/(3sqrt(3))`
Minimum value of f(x) `=((1)/sqrt(3))=(1)/sqrt(3)(1/3-1)=(-2)/(3sqrt(3))`
