(i) `p (x) = x+5`
(ii) `p(x) = x - 5`
(iii) `p (x) = 2x+5`
(iv) `p(x) = 3x-2`
(v) `p(x) =3x`
(vi) `p(x) = ax, a ne 0`

The correct Answer is:
(i) Hence a linear polynomial of type f(x) = ax + b,a,b `in R a ne 0`, has one zero.
(ii) The zeros of this quadratic polynomial are 1,-3.
(iii) This graph called the parabola touches the x-axis at one point (2,0) i.e., f(x) cuts x - axis at one point.
(iv) We observe that in a quadratic polynomial, three cases arise
(v) This graph cuts the x-axis at two point (0,0) and (2,0) and its zeros are x = 0,2
