When a species becomes extinct , the plant and animals species associated with it an obligatory way also becomes extinct. When a hot fish species becomes extinct , its unique assemblage of parasites also meets the same fate . Another example is the case of coevlved plant - Pollinator mutualism where extinction of one invariable leads to the extinction of the other .
