Important outcome of Maxwell.s equation is existence of electromagnetic waves which represent combine propagation of electric and magnetic field in space.
Due to propagation of time varying electric and magnetic field electromagnetic waves are obtains whose speed is equal to light waves propagating in space `(3xx10^(8)m//s)`.
Thus, Maxwell established relation between eectric, magnetic and optical field.
In 1885 scientist Hertz produced electro magnetic waves in laboratory. Proper use of this technology revolutionized communication.
