In the given figure, O is the centre of the circle. Prove that
`/_ XOZ = 2( /_XZY+ /_ YXZ) `.

Join OY .
Now, are XY subtends `/_ XOY` at the centre and `/_ XZY` at a point Z on the remaining part of the circle.
` :. /_ XOY = 2 /_ XZY` ....(i)
Similarly , are YZ subtends `/_ YOZ` at the centre and `/_ YXZ` at a point X on the remaining partof the circle.
`:. /_ YOZ = 2 /_ YXZ` ....(ii)
Adding (i) and (ii), we get
`/_ XOY + /_ YOZ = 2( /_ XZY + /_ YXZ )`
` implies /_XOZ = 2( /_ XZY + /_ YXZ)`
