In the given figure, `/_ BAC = 30^(@)` . Show that BC is equal to the radius of the circumcircle of `Delta ABC` whose centre is O.

Join OB and OC.
`/_ BOC = 2 /_ BAC = 2 xx 30^(@) = 60^(@)`
`OB = OC implies /_ OBC = /_ OCB= x^(@) ` ( say )
`:. `in `/_ OBC` , we have
`/_ BOC + /_ OBC + /_ OCB = 180^(@) implies 60^(@) + 2x^(@) = 180^(@) implies x = 60^(@)`
Thus, each angle of `Delta BOC` is `60^(@)`
`:. Delta BOC` is an equilateral triangle
` :. OB = OC= BC`
Hence, BC is the radius of the circumcircle.
