We have
`x+2y=6rArr 2y=(6-x)`
`rArr y= 1/2 (6-x)" "` …(i)
Putting `x=2 " in (i) , we get " y= 1/2 (6-2) = (1/2 xx 4)= 2.`
Putting `x=4" in (i) , we get "y= 1/2 (6-4) (1/2 xx 2) = 1. `
Putting `x=6" in (i) , we get " y = 1/2 (6-6) = (1/2 xx 0) = 0.`
Putting `x=-2 " in (i) , we get "y= 1/2 {6-(-2) } = (1/2 xx 8) = 4.`
Putting `x=-4" in (i), we get " y= 1/2 { 6- (-4)} = (1/2 xx 10) =5.`
Putting `x=-6 " in (i), we get "y=1/2 {6-(-6)}= (1/2 xx 12) = 6.`
So , the required solutions are given below.
