Since `x=2k -1 and y=k` is solution of (i), we have
`3 xx (2k - 1) - 5k - 7 =0`
`rArr 6k - 3 - 5K - 7 = 0 rArr k- 10 = 0 rArr k = 10.`
Hence, k=10.
