Each question consists of two statement ,namely, Assertion (A) and Reason ( R ) For selecting the correct answer use the following code :
The correct answer is : (a) / (b) /( c) /(d)

A

Both Assertion (A) and Reson ( R) are true and Reason (R ) is a correct explanation of Assertion (A).

B

Both Assertion (A) and Reason ( R ) are ture but Reason ( R) is not a correct explanation of Assertion (A) .

C

Assertion (A) is true and Reason ( R) is false.

D

Assertion (A) is fasle and Reason ( R) is true

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Reason (R) is clearly true
Using the relation given in Reason (R ) , we have
2 mean =(3 median ) - (mode)=`(3xx150)-(154)=450-154=296`
`therefore` mean =148, which is true
Thus Asseration (A) and Reason ( R) are both true and Reason ( R) is the correct explanation of Asseration (A)
