In what different ways, velocity is changed ?

Text Solution

Velocity can be changed in following different ways :
(1) By changing only magnitude of velocity.
(2) By changing direction of velocity.
(3) By changing both magnitude and direction of velocity.

Assertion: In projectile motion, the acceleration is constant in both magnitude and direction but the velocity changes in both magnitude and direction.
