Enantiomers : These are optically active compounds that are non - super imposable on their mirror images.

Butan-2-ol has four different groups attached to the tetrahedral carbon as expected it is chiral. The pair of Butan-2-ol and its mirror image molecules are called enatiomers.
If one isomer is dextro rotatery, the another is a laevo rotatory and vice - versa.
