Tri - iodomethane (Iodoform)

Tri - iodomethane : It was used earlier as an antiseptic but the antiseptic properties are due to the liberation of iodine and not due to iodoform itself.
Due to its objectionable smell, it has been replaced by other formulations containing iodine.
