Following steps should be taken to ensure that the actual performance is in accordance with the performance as per time and motion studies
(i) Deciding how much time is normally required to perform a certain job.
(ii) Determining a fair day's work
(iii) Determining the number of workers to be employed according to the amount of work
(iv) Study the movements of an operator of machine involved in a task with a view to eliminate useless/superfluous movement
(v)Apply differential piece wage system to reward efficient workers
