What kind of cases can be filed in the State Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986?

Under Consumer Protection Act, 1986, all the cases in which the value of goods and services along with the compensation claimed exceeds Rs. 20 lakh, but does not exceed Rs. 1 crore.
However, the appeals against the orders of a District Forum can also be filed before the State Commission.
