A Conducting ring of radius 1 meter is placed in an uniform magnetic field `B` of `0.01` tesla oscillating with frequency `100 Hz` with its plane at right angles to `B`. What will be the induced electric field?

A

`pi V//m`

B

`0.5V//m`

C

`10V//m`

D

`62V//m`

The correct Answer is:
B

Here `r = 1m, B= 0.01 T, t =1/v =1/100s`
Induced emf `|epsi| = (dphi)/(dt) = (BA)/(t) = (B pi r^2)/(t) = (0.01 xx pi (1)^2)/((1/100)) = pi V`
Induced electric field , `E = (|epsi|)/(l) =(|epsi|)/(2pi r) = (pi)/(2 xx pi xx 1) = 0.5 V//m`
