Why NADPH + H^(+) is not synthesize3d ...

Why NADPH + ` H^(+)` is not synthesize3d during the cyclic photophosphorylation ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Cyclic photophosphorylation involves only the PS I and this process takes place in the stroma lamella membrane, which lacks PS II and NADP reductase enzyme. Thus, it results only in the synthesis of ATP and not to NADPH + ` H^(+)` .
