How is nitrobenzene converted to benzoic acid?

Nitrobenzene is converted to aniline which on diazotisation gives benzene diazonium chloride. This on treating with potassium cyanide in the presence of cuprous catalyst gives benzonitrile and it gives benzoic acid on hydrolysis.
