Compare the radii of H atom, `H^(+)` ion and `H^(-)` ion.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`H^+` is the nucleus of H atom. Its radius is very small. H-ion has number of electrons more than number of protons. Its size is more than that of H atom. The radius is in the order : `H^(+) < H < H^(-)`.
