Obtain Bernoulli's equation of rest flui...

Obtain Bernoulli's equation of rest fluid.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Bernoulli.s equation
`P_(1)+(1)/(2)rhov_(1)^(2)+rhogh_(1)=P_(2)+(1)/(2)rhov_(2)^(2)+rhogh_(2)`
When fluid is rest , its velocity at every point is zero.
In above equation `v_(1)=0,v_(2)=0`,
`P_(1)+rhogh_(1)=P_(2)+rhogh_(2)`
`thereforeP_(1)-P_(2)=rhog(h_(2)-h_(1))`
