Can Bernoulli's equations be used to describe the flow of water through a rapid in a river ? Explain .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

No , Bernoull.s theorem is applicable only if there is ideal fluids in streamline motion . Since the flow of water in a river is rapid , way cannot be treated as streamlined motion the theorem cannot be used.
