Why the moisture is retained in soil when a farm is being plough ?

There are microbes in soil .Because of which the water retained in soil comes on the surface of earth and gets vaporized ,So ,the soil gets dry in short time .When the farm is ploughed these microbes gets break and the water doesn.t move forward and the moisture is retained in the soil .
