Air bubble formed in liquid is considered as a sphere of air .initially ,bubble obtained acceleration is in upward direction and it is rising in liquid why ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Air bubble formed in liquid obtained acceleration in upward direction and it is rising in liquid , because the density of air bubble `(rho)` is less than density of liquid `(sigma).(rholtsigma)` hence terminal velocity of bubble is negative and hence it rises in liquid.
