What is the ratio between the distance travelled by the oscillator in one time period and amlitude?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Distance travelled by oscillator in one time period,
`d= A+ A+ A+ A`
`therefore d= 4A`, where A = amplitude
The ratio of distance travelled and amplitude,
`(d)/(A)= (4A)/(A)= 4`
