Explain -For car moving with constant (uniform) velocity resultant force is zero”.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Assume that car start from rest moves on straigth line attain uniform velocity
When external force act on car its velocity increase that means it has accelerated motion
Here we neglect internal forces.
Frictional force act parallel to surface hence car is accelerated but when car moves with constant velocity no foce act on it.
