Write Newton’s second law of motion.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

(i) Newton second law of motion
`vec(f ) = (d vec(p))/( dt )`
`vec( f) = mvec( a) = m ((vec(-2)-vec(v _(2)))/( Delta t ))`
(ii) if resultant external force acting on body is zero then in .
`vec( f) = m vec( a)`
`vec( a) = 0 `
Which is consistence with Newton first law of motion
(iii) Newton second law of motion gives magnitude of force force vector quantity component of force are :
X -comp `f_(x ) = (dp)/( dt) = ma_(x )`
Z-comp `F_(z) = (dp_(z))/( dt) = ma_(z)`
(iv) Equation `f= (dp)/( dt)` ma applied to point like object where F is resultant force acting on partice and a is acceleration production
(v) newton second law of motion is for object at given place force relation with acceleration at given instant .Thus acceleration can be obtained from force but is cannot be determined from history of motion of object
