`R_(ac) = R_(ab) + R_(bc) = (1 xx 2)/(1 + 2) + 3 = (2)/(3) + 3 = (11)/(3) Omega`
(ii)
`R_(ac) = R_(ab) + R_(bc) = (2 xx 3)/(2 + 3) + 1 = (6)/(3) + 1 = (11)/(5) Omega`
(iii) `R_(ad) = R_(ab) + R_(bc) + R_(cd) = 1 + 2 + 3 = 6 Omega`

(iv)

`(1)/(R_(ab)) = (1)/(1) + (1)/(2)+ (1)/(3) = (6 + 3+ 2)/(6) = (11)/(6) `
`therefore R_(ab) = (6)/(11) Omega`
