1.5 Amp
Resistance of B - C - A = `6 Omega`
`therefore ` If R is the equivalent resistance between A and B, then,
`(I)/(R) = (1)/(3) + (1)/(6) = (2 + 1)/(6) = (3)/(6)`
`therefore R = 2 Omega`
` therefore I = (V)/(R) = (3)/(2) = 1.5 ` A
