Why the resistance of ammeter should be as low as possible ?

1. Ammeter is connected in series with the component.
If the resistance of ammeter is `R_(1)` and of circuit is R, then after connecting ammeter, total resistance will be `R+R_(1)`.

3. So, the value of current `I=V/(R+R_(1))` will not be true value.
4. It is decreased value.
5. Therefore, if the resistance of ammeter should be as low as possible to measure true value of current.
