Describe the motion of a charged particle in a cyclotron if the frequency of the radio frequency (rf) field were doubled.

When the frequency w of electric field (oscillator) is doubled the time period `(T=(2pi)/omega)` becomes half. So, the charged particle will take half time to reach between dees. Hence, a charged particle accelerates as it moves in circular path between the dees during motion in dee.s the radius of moving charged particle remain same.
