Angular limit of resolution of a telescope is given by formula,
`alpha_(min)=(1.22lamda)/(D)`
`:.alpha_(min)=(1.22xx6000xx10^(-8))/(100xx2.54)" "("":.1" inch")`
`:.alpha_(min)=(1.22xx6)/(2.54)xx10^(3-8-2)" "2.54cm)`
`:.alpha_(min)=2.882xx10^(-7)rad`
Note : In above example, if angular resolution power of telescope is asked then it is :
`P=(1)/(alpha_(min))=3.47xx10^(5)(rad)^(-1)`
