Which gate will be obtained by joining the two inputs of the NAND gate?

When othe two inputs are joined both the inputs will ber identical. i.e. A = B.
As per the characteristics of the NAND gate.
Y = 1 when A = 0 and B = 0 and
Y = 0 when A = 1 and B = 1
Herem the output Y will be opposite to that of the inputs A or B. Hence, we have a relation `Y=barA`. Hence the above logic circuit will behave as a NOT gate.
