A charge of 2 xx 10^(-2) C moves at 30 ...

A charge of `2 xx 10^(-2) ` C moves at 30 revolutions per second in a circle of diameter 80 cm. The current linked with the circuit is .....

A

2.31

B

1.33

C

1.71

D

`2.0`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
D

2.0
Here `D_(1)` is in reverse bias and `D_(2)` is in forward bias. Here `D_(1) and D_(2)` are ideal diodes therefore resistance of `D_(2)` is zero and resistance of `D_(1)` is infinite. So current is not flowing through `D_(1)` but current is flowing through `D_(2)`.
`therefore` Equivalent circuit is as follow.

Total resistance of circuit `4+2=6Omega`
`therefore` Current flowing through circuit `I=(12)/(6)=2A`
