Are the different types of plastids interchangable ? If yes, give examples where they are getting converted from one type to another ?

Plastids can be interchanged into their forms. Generally there are three types of plastids seen in plant cells. Colourless (storing), Coloured (colour inducer chloroplast (photosynthetic). As per situation one plastid can be converted into other form.
(i) In capsicum, egg cells are colourless while ovary gets converted into fruit, colourless particles get converted into chloroplasts.
(ii) In tuber stem (potato), colourless particles get converted into chloroplasts in sunlight. In some cases chloroplasts get converted into plastids at the ripening of fruit. e.g. Tomato, chilli, it becomes red from green.
