An organism has two pair of chromosomes ...

An organism has two pair of chromosomes (i.e., chromosome number = 4). Diagrammatically represent the chromosomal arrangement during different phases of meiosis-II.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Meiosis is a reductional type of cell division in which number of chromosomes becomes half in number from parent cell. The unit of chromosomes are seen in two parent cells during Meiosis-I. Thus two cells which, n chromosomes are there they enter into meiosis that shows mitosis type of division.
