Plasmolysis is possible in plant cell while not possible in animal cell.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

If plant cell and animal cell both are put in Hypertonic solution then exoosmosis occurs in plant cells and cytoplasm separates from cell wall and shrinks and gathers in any angle of the cell but there is no cell wall in animal cell. So cell itself shrinks when water comes out from cytoplasm and this process is continued for long time and cell itself dies.
