Plant sap is a mixture of organic and inorganic materials. It possesses Sugar, Amino acid ions and Salts. If their chemical analysis is done then it can be understood that which element is transportable. e.g. absorption of Nitrogen and transport is done as `NO_2` and `NO_3` and sulphur is absorbed as sulphate ions and transported as sulphate only.
