Plants show temporary and permanent wilting. Differentiate between the two. Do any of them indicate the water status of the soil ?

Wilting means plant leaves lose turgidity moreover fragile aerial organs bend, folding occurs and non woody parts follow folding, This happens only when the rate of transpiration of water is more then rate of absorption of water.
