Insulin is produced from B cells of pancreas which control the metabolism of sugar. Insulin is produced in the body in the less amount. In earlier time there was no use of modern biotechnology. So for the treatment like disease of Diabetes, insulin was obtained from slaughtered cattle of the circus.
