Smaller, lipid soluble diffuse fater through cell membrane, but the movement of hyfrophilic substances is facilitated by certain transporters which are chemically

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The movement of hydrophilic substances are facilitated by transporters which are chemically proteins. These proteins from porins, which are huge pores in the outer mebranes of the plastids, mitochondria and some bacteria. These porins allow the small molecules to passs through the membrane.
