Biomagnification , also called as bioaccumulation is the accumulation of non- biodegradable toxic material like Hg, DDT, ect,, in different trophic levels. In the process of bioaccumulation , the concentration of non - biodergradable pollulants increases at each successive trophic level of the food chain , thus harming the environment/ ecosystem at an alarming rate, whereas `SO_(2)` (Isulphur dioxide) is an air pollutant and acts as precursor of acid rain.
