In the adjoining figure, we have `angle1=angle2and =angle3.` Show that `angle1=angle3.`

Given, `angle1=angle2` ...(i)
and `angle2=angle3` ...(ii)
According to Euclid's axiom , things which are equal to the same thing are equal to one another.
From Eqs. (i) and (ii),
`angle1=angle3`
