(a) (i) Henry's law represents a relation between solubility of gases in liquid and pressure. Scuba drivers when comes towards surface, the pressure gradually decre ases. This reduced pressure released the dissolve gas present in blood and leads to formation of bubbles of nitrogen in the blood.

(ii) At high altitude atmospheric pressure is low as compared to surface shich causes difficult inbreating. On that condition we feel weakness and discomfort.
(b) Soda water bottle kept at room temperature fizzes on opening due to different pressure inside and outside the bottle. When the bottle is opened to air, the partical pressure of `CO_(2)` above the solution decreases As a result, solubility dec re ases and hence `CO_(2)` bubbles out.

The constant motion and high velocities of gas particles lead to some important practical consquences. One such consquences is that gases mix rapidly when they come in contact. Take the stopper off a bottle of perfume, for instance, and the odour will spread rapidly through the room as perfume molecules mix with the molecules in the air. This mixing of different gases by random molecular motion and with frequent collision is called diffusion. A similar process in which gas molecules escape without collision through a tiny hole into a vacuum is called effusion.
