Explanation

Thermoplasctic : Thermoplastice are linear polynomers which can be repeatedly softened on heating and hardend on cooling and hence can be used again without any change in chemical composition and mechanical strentgth.
Example : Polytene and polypropene.
Thermosetting : Thermosetting polymers, are permanently setting, plymers. On heating in a mould, they get hardned and set and cannot be softened again. Thisb hardening on heating is due to cross-liking between different plymer chains to give three dimensional network solid.
Exmaple. bakelite,
