Differentiate between thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers . Give one example of each.

A polymer which can softened on heating and can be reshaped again and again is called thermoplastic , it does not contain cross linkage example PVC , Polythene where as a thermosetting polyer is a cross-link polymer . Once moulded it cannot be softened on heating e.g., Bakelite , melamine-formal dehyde resion.
