(a) Write the basic nuclear process involved in the emission of `beta^(+)` in a symbolic form, by a radioactive nucleus.
(b) In the reaction given below:
`._6C^(11) to ._yB^z+x+v`
`._6C^(12)+._6C^(12) to ._aNe^(20)+._bHe^c`
Find the values of x,y,z and a,b,c.

`(a)` Basic nuclear reaction in the emission of `beta^(+)(e^(+))` is :
`pton+e^(+)+v`
`(b) (i) ` In equation `(i) ._(6)^(11)Cto_(y)^(z)B+x+v`
Here, `x=beta^(+)(._(1)^(0)e)`, `y=5`, `z=11`
`(ii)` In equation `(ii)`
`._(6)^(12)C+_(6)^(12)Cto_(a)^(20)Ne+_(b)^(c)He`
`12+12=20+C` or `C4`
`b` for `He` is `2`,
Hence `6+6=a+2` or `a=10`.
